Environment: This position requires, ownership and project Management. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. This position will suit a candidate that is driven and self-motivated and passionate about the industry and their career. This role will give you access to all levels of Brand Management. The company structure is a very flat structure

Purpose of the role:

  • Assisting in the implementation (execution) of the brand strategy nationally
  • ATL tracking and monitoring (when applicable)
  • BTL tracking and monitoring
  • Ensuring effective ROI from our respective customer centric drives at customer and consumer level
  • Working with the Data analyst to see sales performance down to customer level
  • Monthly market share analysis
  • Identify the gaps and opportunities for store drives in each region
  • Project management on key launches / projects
  • Assisting & overseeing the product launches into trade (defined customer segments)
  • Internal launches to the sales teams and regions ensuring effective communication to all business units
  • Social & Digital Online media execution overview
  • Internal monitoring and managing external role players
  • Relationship and execution management with key customer centric partners
  • POS execution overview
  • Supplier management
  • Reviewing SOV & Pricing parameters on key brands and SKU’s
  • Product Catalogue management
  • Overseeing the updating of the product catalogue
  • Design requirements
  • Assisting in the management of the internal design team by receiving briefs from each region and ensuring effective execution on time
  • Innovation & Product development
  • Assisting in the NPD & Innovation process
  • Identifying new opportunities
  • Customer Shopper Marketing input
  • Identifying consumer activation drives to drive PULL off shelf and drive sales upliftment
  • Budget management
  • Ensuring any project or consumer activity is executed on budget and with a positive ROI
  • Monthly budget reports

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 7 years of Brand Management experience within a Multi National company.
  • 5 years’ experience within the FMCG market.
  • Marketing Qualification
  • Product/ Brand development experience
