Purpose of the role:

  • Manage B-BBEE verification team
  • Review verification files
  • Technical and legislative training
  • Conduct marketing/verification audit meetings for large, complex clients
  • Manage company compliance requirements
  • Weekly reporting to Directors
  • Uphold SANAS verification requirements
  • Manage entire BBBEE verification function for the company
  • Verification analysis and management process
  • Manage and co-ordinate systems, procedures and policies
  • Assist with verifications
  • Articulate the evaluation process to potential clients
  • Quality assurance
  • Investigate and analyse target enterprises to determine BBBEE status, company policies and BBBEE and legislative compliance
  • Collaborate with potential target enterprises to access required information for accreditation
  • Schedule and conduct site evaluations with Shareholders/Directors and Senior Managers

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Tertiary qualification B. Com or LLB
  • BBBEE Management Development Program Qualification is preferable
  • Minimum of 3 years Verification Analysis within an agency
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Experience with BBBEE analysis and transformation process
  • Highly numerical and exceptional attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of amended BBBEE codes of good practice, the BBBEE Act and other relevant legislation

Skills Required:

  • Prior experience within B-BBEE verifications agency is essential
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle essential
